Unofficial Renderings Offer a Glimpse of 2026 Ford Puma EV

The unofficial images of 2026 Ford Puma EV, shared by CarsVision on YouTube, depict the upcoming Puma EV as a scaled-down version of the popular Mustang Mach-E, raising questions about what the final production model will look like.

As Ford continues to expand its electric vehicle lineup, the all-electric Puma is set to follow the recent introduction of the crossover-style Capri. The Puma, originally produced in Romania and unavailable in the U.S., is now making headlines with its rumored electric variant. Spy shots hint at a sleek design, featuring a fully enclosed grille and a modified front bumper—design elements that distinguish it from the traditional gas-powered version.

Interior details remain a mystery, but industry experts anticipate that the Puma Gen-E will borrow heavily from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. A 12-inch infotainment screen and a 12.8-inch digital cluster, potentially equipped with EV-specific software, are expected to be part of the package. Ford may also introduce unique upholstery and trim options to set the electric model apart.

While Ford has yet to release official information about the powertrain, speculation is rife. Sources suggest that the Puma EV could share its electric motor with the E-Transit Courier, delivering 134 horsepower and supporting fast charging up to 100 kW. However, the exact range and battery capacity remain under wraps.

Ford has confirmed that the official unveiling of the Puma Gen-E will take place later this year, with production expected to begin shortly after. The first deliveries are anticipated by the end of 2024 or early 2025, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s electric vehicle offerings.

In the meantime, the digital renderings have ignited discussions online. The images present a striking resemblance to a smaller Mustang Mach-E, complete with broad shoulders, muscular wheel arches, an aggressive rear bumper, a large roof-mounted spoiler, and a front fascia reminiscent of Toyota’s design language. However, it’s important to note that these illustrations are purely speculative and may not represent the final design.
