2026 Acura MDX do feel very aggressive and aerodynamically designed luxurious SUV. Front fascia now has pen-frame Diamond Pentagon grille with a redesigned mesh pattern which i personally feel much better than previous models. One more change in front fascia is Jewel Eye® LED headlights are now come in darkened accents for a more dramatic appearance.
The all new Canyon River Blue Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl, have been introduced to make this SUV more visually appealing. I personally like Canyon River Blue Metallic color. Additionally, we are going to get 20-inch alloy wheels which significantly enhances its overall stance.
Performance and Engine Options
The 2026 Acura MDX is going to be available in the two different powertrain options:
- Standard 3.5L V6 Engine: This is going to be an base level engine which will be producing around 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. Personally i think these are good numbers. on top of that it will be offering front wheel drive as a standard. In optional we can get Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) for smoother and responsive driving.
- Type S Variant: This is an refined performance based 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine capable of producing 355 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. great part of this is we get SH-AWD® as a standard. As per my understanding of engine this will touch 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds.
Interior and Comfort
Lets talk interior and comfort we get in 2026 Acura MDX. Seats are going to feature French-stitched leather, wood, and metallic accents which i personally feel very attractive and gives premium feel.
New infotainment display is going to be of 12.3-inch, It’s going to have built in google android auto and apple play wirelessly.
Seating configurations remain versatile, comfortably accommodating up to seven passengers. As of now there is no solid info about interior dimensions but we are comfortable that it will have plenty of room for second row and third row passengers. I am personally fan of its Bang & Olufsen audio system, which comes in 19 to 31 speakers depending on your trim level.

2026 Acura MDX is going to feature lots of safety features with AcuraWatch™ suite. following are some of the highlighted features:
