Powertrain & Performance
2025 Toyota Prius is offering 2.0-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine with two electric motors to complete hybrid setup. all wheel drive is capable of producing 196 horsepower and front wheel drives are capable of producing 194 horsepower. As per our test, 2025 Toyota Prius achieves 0 to 60 mph within 7.1 seconds.
Fuel Efficiency (MPG)
Apart from 0-60 we have also tested it’s fuel efficiency on city roads and highways. here are our test results.

Drive Modes & Handling
All new drive modes like Custom, Sport, Normal, Eco, EV Mode are introduced in 2025 Toyota Prius. these modes are designed to adjust throttle response and steering feel. In Sport mode, we can feel tightness in steering and feel smooth power on acceleration.
Braking
2025 Toyota Prius has different braking hardware. for FWD models Toyota has given 11.1 inch ventilated discs. While AWD model is equipped with 11-inch solid disc brakes. Our team tested braking system of 2025 Toyota Prius and found out that Prius achieved a 60-0 mph stopping distance of 123 feet.
Suspension
Let’s discuss suspension of 2025 Prius, MacPherson strut is placed in the front while an independent multi-link suspension at the rear. this combination of suspension do provide smooth and comfortable ride. Also, i have to mention here that the car’s handling changes with the drive modes.
Exterior Design
Front end features active grille shutters, LED projector headlights, and C-shaped LED daytime running lights these are all standard across the various trim levels. I personally like automatic high beams and gloss black color of Nightshade Edition.
Nightshade trim also feature standout 19-inch gloss black wheels. while base LE trim comes with 17-inch alloy wheels.
From rear it does look very futuristic and have full-width LED taillight bar, a hidden single exhaust. Each trim level can be identified by their horizontal badging in the rear.
Tech Features
2025 Toyota Prius has modern tech features such as push-button start system along with keyless entry. I personally like 7-inch digital gauge cluster which has customizable options.
XLE and above trim levels offers wireless charging pad and fixed glass roof for fresh air. Additionally, ambient lighting further enhances it’s premium and sporty look.
