The 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is confirmed to have a new hybrid model which will be named as a “REEV” or Range-Extended Electric Vehicle. This is set to be released with the traditional gas-only version, likely in the first quarter of the 2026.
This hybrid version will use onboard gas generator to charge the battery with the expected total driving range of roughly 500 miles.
Powertrain and Performance

The most significant update for 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is upcoming electric powertrain which will have extended range.
You will get 3.6-liter V6 engine which will only used to recharge its 92-kWh battery pack. There will be two electric motors which will power both front and rear axles making it suitable for all-wheel drive capability. This setup is expected to produce a robust 647 horsepower along with 620 lb-ft of torque with 0-60 mph acceleration in approximately 5 seconds.

2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer hybrid is going to have 150 miles on battery power alone and total range of 500 miles with 20-gallon fuel tank for the generator.
Design Updates
The 2026 model receives a modernized and is made to suit a hybrid technology. In the front there is new fascia with slimmer LED headlights positioned nearly 2 inches higher than the previous model.
