We all know Genesis for their value-packed luxury offerings but 2026 Genesis G70 sedan arrived with lesser features compared to past updates. Nowadays, everyone is adding tech features to their new models but why Genesis decided to cut down? let’s find out in this detailed analysis.

Interior Changes
Interior of 2026 Genesis G70 is receiving beige color but only on 2.5L turbo-four models. However, Gray interior and Sport interior is gone now. Even premium finish like Nappa leather and the microfiber suede headliner are no longer available. I am very disappointed with this move of Genesis.
Exterior Changes

In 2026 G70 model new Capri Blue paint is given to make it look more fresh but older Tasmin Blue and Pearl Blue paints are now gone. I don’t know why Genesis did that but these two were popular colors.
Trim Features

Genesis has also made some impactful changes across various trims. First change is in 2.5T Prestige where it gets new wheels and aluminum trim but dark chrome grille and alloy pedals are deleted.
On standard trim, heated steering wheel is added but only for 2.5T AWD and up. Genesis also removed power trunk from all the trims and even worse electronically controlled suspension (ECS) will not be offered on the 3.3T Sport Prestige.
I don’t get this changes, like what is Genesis is trying to do with these major feature removals.
Pricing Change
With all above removals or changes you must be expecting that the pricing will be lowered but that’s not case. Instead, Genesis has decided to add $350 more to 2.5LT models which now cost $42,850.
New 3.3LT twin-turbo V6 will be only available on single Sport Prestige trim (RWD or AWD). It is very sad to see Genesis cutting down multiple features for don’t know what.
