The All-New 2026 Hyundai Palisade: A Detailed First Look

It’s been quite a journey to find this car! As many of you know, I prefer to spot new car models myself rather than rely on reports from other sources. After a few failed attempts, I finally caught sight of the Hyundai Palisade.

Although the car has been officially revealed, Hyundai hasn’t had its official launch event yet, and it’s still a test model. That means I’m able to give you an exclusive early look at what’s to come!

The Hyundai Palisade has been highly anticipated in Korea, and the excitement around it is palpable. It’s already available for pre-order in the country, and I’ve even placed my own order. Now, let’s take a closer look at the vehicle and its design.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Exterior Design

One of the first things you’ll notice about the new Hyundai Palisade is its striking exterior design. The front of the vehicle is dominated by five daytime running lights (DRLs) that create a bold, futuristic look.

While I’ve seen these lights in the official photos, they look even more impressive in person. Alongside the DRLs, the headlights are positioned to serve as high beams, and the seamless Horizon lamp gives the front of the vehicle a sleek, continuous appearance.

The color of the Palisade in the images is Abyss Black Pearl, though this is still a test car, so the final production model may differ slightly in appearance. The massive front radiator grill and active air flaps on either side of the bumper add to the vehicle’s bold design.

These air flaps open when needed to cool the engine, similar to the design seen on the Hyundai Ioniq 9, and help to reduce drag for better efficiency.

As we move along the exterior, the Palisade doesn’t disappoint in terms of technology and design. The front bumper is equipped with six sensors, including a front camera for the 360-degree view.

The lower part of the car features an undercover that helps protect it from debris, while the tires—235/65 R18—indicate this isn’t the fully-loaded Calligraphy trim (which would typically feature 21-inch wheels). The rear section of the car includes a fully covered underbody and a hidden rear wiper that extends out when needed, ensuring the rear window stays clear in inclement weather.

The Palisade also boasts flag-type side mirrors that provide excellent visibility. These mirrors are equipped with a Blind Spot Monitoring (BBM) system for added safety.

Inside the Palisade: Comfort and Innovation

When it comes to the interior, the Hyundai Palisade impresses with its innovative features and comfort. For the first time, the Palisade is available with a 9-seat configuration in a 3+3+3 layout, which is especially beneficial for larger families or those who need more seating capacity. This configuration is expected to be available in Korea or select markets.

The second-row seats feature a bench-type design with a seat-type charging port that can support up to 100W. This means you can charge your laptop or other devices while on the go.

The interior is still a test model, so I wasn’t able to capture every detail, but I’ll be sure to share more once I get a closer look at the final version.

The Palisade’s design is geared toward providing comfort and convenience for both passengers and drivers. The third-row headrests are visible, and while I couldn’t fully explore the trunk area due to it being filled with equipment, I’ll be sure to provide more details once I have access to a production model.

Wrapping Up

The all-new Hyundai Palisade is an exciting addition to Hyundai’s lineup, and I’m thrilled to have been one of the first to spot this model. From its bold exterior design to its high-tech features and interior comfort, the Palisade is shaping up to be a game-changer in the SUV market.

Although this is just a sneak peek, I’ll be back with more detailed coverage once Hyundai officially launches the vehicle. In the meantime, feel free to drop any questions or thoughts in the comments below.

Stay tuned, and I’ll see you in the next post!
