The good news is it can! The Walk Away Auto-Lock feature automatically locks your car when you get 10 feet away with the key fob in hand. Here’s how to activate it:

1. Find the Vehicle Settings menu.
   • For LX and SE trims: Use the driver’s interface screen.
   • For Hybrid models: Use the larger touchscreen.
2. Go to Vehicle Settings > Door Setup.
3. Toggle the Walk Away Auto-Lock to “On.”

Once activated, your doors will lock automatically when you step away from the vehicle.

Remote Start

Remote Start is a standard feature across all 2025 Honda Accord trims. It’s quick and easy to use:

1. Press the lock button on your key fob.
2. Press and hold the circle button on the bottom left corner.
3. The lights will flash to indicate the car has received the signal and started.

Keep in mind that the remote start runs in 10-minute intervals. If you need more time, you can extend it once by pressing the lock button and holding the circle button again, giving you a total of 18 minutes. However, you can only do this twice.

Rolling Down Windows with the Key Fob

Summer days can be brutal. There’s nothing worse than getting into a car that’s been baking in the sun. Thankfully, the Honda Accord allows you to roll down the windows with your key fob to let out the hot air before you get in.

To roll down the windows:

Turning Off Daytime Running Lights

If you’ve ever been to a drive-in theater or admired Christmas lights, you know how annoying daytime running lights (DRLs) can be. Here’s how to turn them off without shutting down the car:

1. Go to the driver’s seat.
2. Turn the light dial to the “Off” position.

Once the car is in motion, the DRLs will turn back on automatically.

Switching Between Adaptive and Standard Cruise Control
