Features Being Discontinued
Chevrolet is replacing few options and features to meet the current demand and market trends.
Deleted Exterior Colors:
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
- Slate Gray Metallic
Discontinued Features:
- Realtree Special Edition Package (being replaced with an LPO Realtree Appearance Package)
- Front and Rear Floor Liners with Removable Carpet Inserts
However, remember these items will be still available at GM Parts counters to meet the needs of those who have already brought it in previous models.
What’s New in 2026 Chevy Silverado?
Guys, 2026 Chevy Silverado is just a carryover from last years model but still it has plenty of upgrades. We have listed them below.
New Exterior Colors:
- White Sands – Not available on lower trims like WT, 1LT, 2L, or 2LT. Expected availability on Custom, RST, and higher trims.
- Polar White Tri-Coat – A new premium white paint replacing Iridescent Pearl.
Performance Add-Ons:
- LPO Exhaust Calibration (6.2L V8) – A more aggressive exhaust tune now offered for trucks equipped with the 6.2L dual-mode exhaust system, delivering a deeper, sportier sound.
- LPO Realtree Appearance Package – Available on Custom and Custom Trail Boss trims. This adds aesthetic touches inspired by the previous Realtree edition.
ZR2 Trim Package Updates
The off-road-ready ZR2 trim receives major standard equipment upgrades for 2026.
Now Standard on ZR2:
- Technology Package
- Multiflex Tailgatev
You can still option a Power Up/Down Tailgate, but the default configuration now includes the Multiflex system. With more features now standard, expect ZR2 pricing to hover around $75,000, though exact figures are still pending.
Other options like the ZR2 Bison Package, power sunroof, and off-road accessories remain available.
Super Cruise Enhancement for High Country
GM is finally rolling out a hands-on lane-centering mode for Super Cruise across all 2026 models, including the Silverado High Country.
New Super Cruise Capabilities:
- Hands-on lane centering on unmapped roads (if lane markings are present)
- Enhanced safety and smoother semi-autonomous driving
- Still exclusive to High Country trim (no plans to expand to LTZ or others yet)
