First thing is powertrain options, 2026 Freightliner Cascadias will be offering Detroit DD13 and DD15 engines with 505 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque.
Next is Cummins X15 diesel engine option which produces 605 hp and 2,050 lb-ft of torque making it more suitable for efficiency with power. 2026 Freightliner equipped with new Active Brake Assist 6 sets a new benchmark for collision mitigation systems. All new sensor suite include:
