2026 YZ125 Delivers Ultimate 125cc Two-Stroke Package

Yamaha has been ruling the 125cc market with its YZ125 and guess what? it is coming as an updated version in the 2026. this model is set to be more capable and more advance.
Engine Changes
2026 Yamaha YZ125 is obviously powered by 125 two-stroke engine known for its performance. very first change Yamaha made here is updated CDI settings making it more calibrated. it features curves in the design to optimize combustion and efficiency. This overall optimize for linear power delivery and reduces traditional two-stroke “hit,” making the power easier to manage while cornering and slippery terrain.
Also, now air intake and intake boot is is revised. Yamaha has given new air intake tract and intake boot facilitating smoother airflow and cylinder. this smoother airflow reduces turbulence and promote better fuel atomization.
Another change is revised carburetor which now capable to withstand varied conditions like elevation changes, temperature swings, humidity. This fine-tuning ensures more consistent performance across a wider range of environments.

Yamaha’s patented Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS™) adjusts it’s exhaust port height based on RPM on low-end acceleration. this 2026 updates make this already excellent system even more effective and rider-friendly.

2026 Yamaha YZ125 now features aluminum frame which is semi-double cradle design balances stability in the cornering. In the front we get KYB SSS Front Fork (48mm Inverted) which is best for bump absorption & front-end traction. In the rear, KYB shock are kashima-coated internals with high/low-speed compression adjusters + oil rebound lock.
