Recently Subaru has announced reveal of 2027 Subaru WRX in October Japan Mobility Show. Leaked information shows that it will be a five-door hatchback configuration. this body style was highly requested by the fans since the discontinuation after 2014 model year. Official trailer or teaser hints at a aggressively flared fenders, a substantial rear wing, and a dual-exhaust setup.
Subaru is hinting on significant upgrade on technological assets and a hybrid powertrain for complying with the new tightening emissions regulations. It could completely eliminate manual transmission option.
