On July 2025, i saw the CGI rendering of 2027 Cadillac Escalade EXT and i instantly saw the genius in it. They kept Cadillac’s 2025 refresh DNA style like vertical lighting, monolithic grille, and tech-loaded cabin but added EXT’s signature chopped profile and composite bed.
Also, midgate system shows practicality along with 8-foot bed for mountain bikes or drywall without sacrificing a luxury cabin.
2027 Cadillac Escalade EXT Renderings – What We Need
Back in 2013, Cadillac discontinued EXT variant because they wanted to offer luxury. but today you can see vehicles like Rivian R1Ts, GMC Hummer EVs, and $100k Ford Lightnings offering premium cabin along with rear beds. Here’s what i need in this if it ever comes to life:
- Electrify or die: Cadilac must offer an IQT variant with 400+ miles of range and also add hybrid for all the traditional buyers.
- Out-innovate the Midgate: Add much practical power-operated panels, integrated tonneau covers, and weatherproof cabin-bed passthroughs.
- Bed smarts: bed must have modern electric features like Pro Power Onboard outlets, LED task lighting, and a 360-degree camera system that watches your cargo.
- Celestiq-level luxury: on top of everything i really want Massaging seats, exotic materials and everything that will make feel luxurious cabin & overall interior.
Back in the time “luxury utility” wasn’t a category and also to be honest original EXT felt like a compromised Suburban with a bed. but today it is possible to have both luxury and utility together. Electric powertrains now enables packaging magic, trucks are status symbols, and Cadillac’s brand is lightyears more premium.
