Welcome back, everybody, to another blog from Pontosauto Team. In this blog post, we’re at the Ducati stand for an overview of their exciting new 2025 lineup. There’s plenty of fresh content to explore, so here’s everything you need to know ahead of the new model year.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4 & V4S
Undoubtedly, one of the standout stars of the Ducati stand is the new Panigale V4 and V4S, Ducati’s flagship sports bike. This model has undergone a complete ground-up redesign, with numerous changes across the bike.
The updated styling takes inspiration from iconic Ducati sports bikes of the past, including the 916, with the new dual headlights.
The most controversial update to the Panigale V4 is the switch from the single-sided swingarm to a new dual-sided swingarm. While some enthusiasts may feel this change detracts from the bike’s signature design, Ducati justifies it in the name of performance.
The new dual swingarm offers more flexibility, providing improved grip when the bike is banked over, and it reduces weight by 3 kg.
The new Panigale V4 now weighs 191 kg wet (without fuel), while the V4S version, which comes with Ohlins suspension and lighter forged aluminum wheels, weighs in at 187 kg. Peak power has increased slightly to 216 horsepower.
However, for those seeking more power, a high-mount track-only accessory exhaust boosts power to 228 horsepower. Pricing for the Panigale V4 starts just under £25,000, with the V4S coming in at £29,995.
2025 Ducati Panigale V2
If the Panigale V4S feels out of reach, the new Panigale V2 is a great alternative. This bike has also undergone a complete overhaul for 2025.
It takes styling cues from the V4, including the dual-sided swingarm, but the real change is the introduction of Ducati’s new V2 2 engine, which replaces the Testastretta V-twin engine found in previous models.
The new engine is designed to be more versatile, providing more mid-range torque for road use. However, it produces 120 horsepower, which is 30 horsepower less than the previous Panigale V2, which used the Superquadro V-twin engine.
While this is a bit of a trade-off, Ducati focuses on lightness with the new V2. The bike now weighs 179 kg wet (without fuel) for the standard version, and the V2S comes in at 176 kg. That’s more than 10 kg lighter than the V4 equivalent, making the V2 a more agile and road-friendly option. Pricing for the Panigale V2 starts at $11,495 for the base model, with the V2S priced at $11,695.
2025 Ducati Monster Senna Edition
Though there are no major updates to the Monster lineup, Ducati has introduced the limited-edition Monster Senna, which honors the late F1 driver Ayrton Senna.
This special edition celebrates Senna’s connection to the original first-gen Monster, as he was one of its first owners. Only 341 units will be produced, each featuring a special livery inspired by Senna.
The Monster Senna Edition is priced at £23,500, which is double the price of a standard Monster (£11,595). This bike is certainly one for the Senna enthusiast or collector.
2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2
For those looking for a naked bike, Ducati has introduced the Streetfighter version of the Panigale V2. This model carries over many features from the Panigale, including the new V2 engine, but it offers a more comfortable and relaxed riding position thanks to its flat handlebars.
The Streetfighter V2 is priced at £13,990 for the base model and £15,990 for the V2S, making it £1,000 cheaper than the equivalent Panigale.
The Streetfighter V2’s design is menacing, with a front end that clearly ties into the Streetfighter family. The absence of winglets gives it a cleaner, more refined look, making it a great option for those who want a road bike that’s both powerful and agile.
2025 Ducati Desert X Discovery
For 2025, Ducati has added a new variant to the Desert X lineup, the Desert X Discovery. This version focuses on touring and long-distance riding, featuring a larger windscreen, crash protection, side cases, a center stand, and heated grips. It also comes with a dedicated livery for a unique and stylish look.
The Desert X Discovery is priced at £17,295, which is £1,900 more than the standard Desert X (£15,195). When you consider the cost of accessories like crash bars and cases, the Discovery offers good value for money if you’re looking to deck out your Desert X for touring.
2025 Ducati Multistrada V4
The Multistrada V4 gets a few subtle updates for 2025. One of the most notable changes is an extended rear cylinder deactivation system, which improves fuel efficiency and reduces heat buildup at low speeds. The S model also benefits from upgraded semi-active suspension, including a new bump detection system that softens the shocks before you hit a bump, improving overall comfort.
The base Multistrada V4 is priced at $17,695, while the S version is priced at $22,495. For those who want a more road-focused adventure bike, the Pikes Peak version is priced at $27,795.
Ducati Scrambler Lineup
Ducati’s Scrambler lineup also gets some updates for 2025, including the return of the Scrambler Icon Dark. This model offers a stripped-back finish and comes at a more affordable price of £9,495, making it one of the most affordable Ducatis available.
Also new for 2025 is the Scrambler Full Throttle, which now features a matte black and gold finish instead of the previous red and black. It’s priced at £11,195 and includes extras like the Termignoni silencer. Additionally, Ducati has introduced the 10th anniversary Scrambler, the Rosa Scrambler, which features a striking rose gold finish and a unique matte white paint job. This special edition is priced at £13,095, offering a more affordable alternative to other limited-edition Ducatis.
