Features Being Discontinued
Chevy is making huge changes in 2026 model, it will be dropping few features and accessories to add new features.
Deleted Exterior Colors:
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
- Harvest Bronze Metallic
Removed LPO Accessories:
- Roadside Safety Package
- Foldable Cargo Organizer
- Bright Wheel Lug Nuts
Above given accessories will not be available in 2026 Chevy Traverse. this may be due to reduction in demand and to reduce complexity.
New Additions for 2026 Chevy Traverse
2026 Chevy Traverse is a carryover model and still going to offer plenty of new features mentioned below:
New Exterior Colors:
- Polar White Tri-Coat – this will replace Iridescent Pearl and is going to be available across all the trim.
- Sandstone Gray – this is going to be exclusive for off-road-oriented Z71 trim.
Digital Key Functionality
2026 Chevy Traverse is going to add phone-as-key technology as part of the Driver Confidence Package. However, it will be only available on the top level trims. With this feature you can lock, unlock, and start their vehicle using a smartphone app similar to systems offered by Tesla, Hyundai, and Ford for years.
Trim-Specific Packaging Update
Rear Camera Mirror Now Standard in Driver Confidence Package
Previously, rearview camera mirror was only packed with expensive Driving Package (which included Super Cruise). Now, Chevy is going to make it available in the accessible Driver Confidence Package for the LT and Z71 trims.
Super Cruise Enhancement
Super Cruise functionality is now enhanced with the 2026 Chevy Traverse. this allows all 2026 GM vehicles hands-free system.
What’s New?
New super cruise will offer hands-on, camera-based lane centering mode when there is roads that do not support super cruise functionality. This means:
- You will still get lane-keeping support even on unsupported roads.
- You will have much safer and ride on highways.
